Ruby on Rails developer

Summary: I am Ruby on Rails developer with 5 years commercial experience.

My core tech skills are: Ruby on Rails, HTML/CSS, HAML, JS/AJAX, Git, Amazon Web Services, PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB, Rspec.

Those tech skills are important, sure, but just as important are the "softer" skills I've learned on the way. Skills like being able to think like a user of an application, understanding the business value of a given feature request, and knowing when there's a solution that gets you 80% of the way there with 20% of the work (and cost). And I've developed a strong ability to communicate process and progress through a light agile methodology I've refined over the years.
