Technical skills:
Languages: Preferred – JavaScript (jQuery, AngularJS, Node.js), Typescript (Angular), PHP (EE, CI).
DBMS: MySQL, Hadoop, MongoDB.
Source control: SVN, Git, GitHub, GitFlow, Jira, Scrum.
Skills:
- HTML layout: including HTML5 (tags, SEO optimized layouts, clear code). Experience build applications based on Bootstrap.
- CSS including CSS3 (sprites, animation, use vector graphic, base64 encoding). Media queries/ Responsive web-design.
- JavaScript (6 years front-end experience: animation of everything, forms: validation, work with data, video/audio players, sliders etc. Frameworks: Prototype, Mootools, jQuery, AngularJS, Angular), experience with Node.js backend, Restful API.
- PHP (Expression Engine, Code Igniter based Back-end, WordPress functionality, plugins etc., own simple CMS, any functions starting from console scripts to parse data/send emails up to commercial products).
- Server side: well know Unix/Linux OS, can setup any environment, experience with setting up servers on Amazon Web Services.
- Site optimization / high load: optimization code, CSS sprites, reduce number of DB queries, CDN, caching CloudFlare, CloudFront, Varnish cache.
- Design: well know Photoshop, CorelDraw, can prepare images, make page design/layout, make icons etc. Experience work with icon fonts, like Glyphicons, Font Awesome, custom icon fonts for high-optimized websites.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture (hooks, post types, custom fields, theme creation, AJAX, any custom functions).
