ABOUT THE PROJECT:
We are preparing a project to rewrite the current product catalog of the Czech T-Mobile, which covers all the products we offer on the market. Products such as tariffs or even individual hardware can be created and configured here. We currently run the catalog on an Oracle database and use the COM console (which we share with CRM) as a GUI. Our goal now will be to select a database that we do not want to migrate and prepare our own FE (where we initially plan to build on the core, which is already ready in vue.js and used by T-Mobile for some of its new websites). After rewriting the current business solution 1:1 for the current situation, we plan to further develop the individual functionalities and prepare the catalog so that it is easy to operate with no special knowledge or involvement of another role is required for its use. At the moment, we have clients’ consents placed in several places within the company, depending on which channel collects these consents. The aim of this project is to establish a unified system where all consents will be stored. It will be possible to add and edit them online at the same time. We will be based on a unified database system, which we will choose within the project and prepare our own FE (where we initially plan to build on the core, which is already ready in vue.js and used by T-Mobile for some of its new websites). Java developer (Data Management platform)
We’re looking for Java developer to our client Data Management platform.
Platform empowers organizations of all sizes to discover the truth in information — their most important digital asset.
Using this platform, customers can accelerate their digital transformation and solve pressing IT and business challenges including multi-cloud data management, data protection, storage optimization, compliance readiness and workload portability — with no cloud vendor lock-in.
The first project phase will be centered around one of the biggest product company. This product is the market leader in data protection, backup, restore and disaster recovery. The goal of the first project phase is to migrate some modules of desktop on the modern stack. The migration work is already in progress, it was started by inhouse development, lots of product modules are already fully functioning in WebUI.
Our team is geographically distributed: inhouse developers are in US, our team is in Georgia and Poland. Currently, we have 1 team of 6 engineers, 1 BA. We are willing to bring onboard 2 more teams of 7 people in each. All teams are going to be focuces on building functionality in new WebUI application based on existing logic in old desktop application.
Tech stack: New WebUI app: Java 11, Spring Framework (AOP, Data, Security, JWT, Apache Shiro), Hibernate, RabbitMQ, WebSocket, Swagger, Gradle, git, REST Assured, JUnit4, in-memory DB, Mockito.
Requirements:
- Solid experience using Java Platform (version 8+)
- 4+ Years of experience in Java development
- Experience with Spring Framework
- Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns
- Experience with relational DBMS
- Experience with ORM frameworks (Hibernate, MyBatis or similar)
- Experience in Web Development and designing RESTful services
- English level — B1+
- Tech lead experience ( ensure consistent solution and code quality of the team, conduct code review, coordinate technical effort of the team, drive technical improvements, drive technical issues resolution)
